Have you ever thought about what it may be like to have a perfect smile like a movie star?
Those smiles are rare despite what celebrities smiles would have you believe.
The path to a perfect smile is different for everyone.
When you dream of your perfect smile, it may not be because of aesthetics at all. Your main focus might be having less headaches. You could be trying to stop a jaw-popping issue. You might be trying to restore the natural open and close function of your mouth.
Smile Design can help with all these conditions. It's what makes proper Smile Design so important. Dr. Dahman’s scientific approach to dentistry can help you design your perfect smile, regardless of where you are on your path. And he can show you what your smile will look like, before you decide to accept treatment.
Designing a smile that in the end will both function properly and look great takes a few steps.
The first is a consultation where we will get to know your functional and aesthetic goals. We will talk about what you like and dislike about your smile and answer any questions you might have about the process.
The second step is a careful examination of your existing anatomy. When aligning both function and form it is extremely important to know all we can. Bone structure, the shape and condition of the teeth, gum issues or anything else may play a factor in the long term success of your new smile.
The third step is to provide you with a treatment plan along with a digital simulation of what your smile will look like once treatment is complete. It is usually at this step where our patients really get an idea of the extent of their transformation. Through simulation, they can finally see themselves with the new smile they have thought about. The simulations ensure you are comfortable and we are on the same page with the path of your treatment.
Once you approve of your smile design, we can schedule and begin your treatment.
Great Care. Great Smiles.
